Trichostrongylus sp.- Egg from goat faeces from farm where human also infected - 75-85 microns x 40 microns with colourless egg shell - saline preparation. (range 73-94 microns x 40-53 microns slightly pointed at one or both ends) important to distingish from hookworm eggs (60x40 microns) see Boreham RE. et al. 1995. Pathology. 27:182-185.
